Wizera's people once had a name. In all fairness, they once had a planet too, but that was many millennia ago and Wizera is reluctant to talk about it, due in part to her inadvertent role in destroying it. Few anthropologists have had the stamina to travel to the solar system where it once existed, beyond the farthest reaches of known space. Fewer still have ever returned. But to their credit, Wizera will be the first to admit that their notes are largely accurate in describing the way of life in which she grew up and eventually died.
For lack of a better name, these anthropologists called her people the "W Fellowship." This was due to the fact that all of the proper names of the people started with a phonetic /w/ sound. And it was as good a name as any. As far as any scientific scans could tell, the planet of said Fellowship was just about the oldest thing any instruments could date. The bedrock of the planet was made of blue drusy chrysocolla, with hints of copper, turquoise, and other unusual minerals. But the civilization was sophisticated enough to develop terraforming technology, allowing for agriculture and raising the question of whether or not they were truly native to the planet. No one knows for sure.
What is known is despite the presence of advanced technology and space travel, the citizens of the planet lived a deceptively simple life, one that might even look medieval on the surface. Society was ruled over by a monarchy, although not one of a continuous bloodline, as the family in power changed every few generations. Wizera was the second daughter of a landholding nobleman named Wyatt and his wife Winnifred. There was a strong cultural taboo against a married couple having more than one child, but since their first child died in infancy, an exception was made. Wizera was named in honor of the King and Queen's young son, Prince Wizra, a power play on Winnifred's part, as she hoped to see her daughter advance in society.

Personality Analysis - WIP

Wizera is old. It's important to start there. She stopped keeping track of her age somewhere around five thousand, and that wasn't even counting the mortal life that was initially taken from her. This isn't to say she has an old soul, as will be addressed later. But the fact that she's old means she's seen a lot of things in her time. Not necessarily "it all." Because in a universe of infinite possibilities, there's no such thing as "it all." But certainly enough that it's very, very hard to surprise this woman. The words 'unflappable' and 'even-keeled' consistently apply to her, when it comes to facing what's unexpected or magical in the universe. Even if she hasn't seen it before, it's not going to scare her until she sees reason to fear it. In fact, she'll probably be drawn to it, find it downright fascinating. She's a bon vivant and where there's an opportunity for excitement, she'll take it. Novelty feeds her continued existence, and because she's lived so long, she's patient enough to really, really try new things before getting bored or deciding they're not for her.
There is, however, a particular blind spot when it comes to her life experiences. And that's people. Events and phenomena may not surprise or frighten Wizera, but it's much, much easier for people to do just that. As a mortal woman, she was idealistic and naive. As a Ra, she was indoctrinated with cruelty and casual disregard for others. But there was no adjustment. There was no transition period. People were all good, until they were all useless. In her current, in-between state, there's a lot she still has to master about socializing with other people. And their illogical choices, their emotions, their loyalty, and their occasional heroics astonish and delight Wizera, as she learns to understand and be more like them.
Yes, Wizera is dreadfully old. But she's only been the person she currently is for a very, very short while. So she's still trying to figure that person out, particularly with regards to how that person interacts with others.
